Why we are independent

Being independent is a working method, not a badge. It means we can cut a mechanic in month ten because the table went quiet, and that a game ships when it is ready rather than when a catalogue says so.

It also means we carry the risk. We publish our own titles — crowdfunding, manufacturing, distribution and fulfilment. Nobody else decides what our games are worth, and nobody asks us to soften what they are about.

Who is here

Two people — a designer and an a sofware developer — who have spent far too long thinking about how institutions fail and how narratives get manufactured. Being this small is the point: decisions take an afternoon rather than a quarter, and everything gets played every week.

We also want to find collaborators to help us with the big pieces of art we ship in our products. Every collaboration is special. If you would like to work with us, please get in touch by sending an email. Details are available at the bottom of this page.
